We offer many types of scholarships to help teens further their education after high school and be successful in their future endeavors. Although most of our scholarships are open to any teen interested in pursuing education at a four-year university, some of them include other types of education or have additional eligibility requirements. Please see the list below for more information.
Minigan Family Scholarship
The Minigan Family Scholarship awards one recipient a $2,000 scholarship.
Eligibility: Open to any student planning to attend a four-year university.
Capriola Family Scholarship
The Capriola Family Scholarship awards two recipients with a scholarship of $1,000 each.
Eligibility: Open to any student planning to attend a four-year university.
Anastasio “Stash” Vadez Scholarship
The Anastasio “Stash” Vadez Scholarship awards one recipient with a scholarship of $500.
Eligibility: Open to any student planning to attend a four-year university.
BGCSV Alumni Scholarship Fund
The BGCSV Alumni Scholarship Fund awards one recipient with a scholarship of $500.
Eligibility: Open to any student planning to attend a four-year university.
Teen Services Alumni Scholarship Fund
The Teen Services Alumni Scholarship Fund awards one recipient with a scholarship of $500-1,000.
Eligibility: Open to any student planning to attend a four-year university, junior college, or trade school, as well as Ready to Work and Lovin’ Oven Culinary Academy graduates who are entering the workforce.
Youth of the Year Scholarships
Youth of the Year Scholarships are awarded to all teen finalists in our Youth of the Year program. The teen selected as Youth of the Year receives a $1,000 scholarship, with the remaining finalists each receiving $500.
Eligibility: Must be in our Youth of the Year program and be selected as a finalist.
