2008 - Valley of the Moon Teen Center relocated to 17440 Sonoma Hwy
Now referred to as simply “The Teen Center”, this new facility offered a better venue for the wide scope of programs now offered. It included a computer lab for homework and research, a project room, a vocational classroom, a commercial kitchen, offices, a basement for bike repair, and a central gathering room.

2010 - Operation Teen Youth and Valley of the Moon Teen Center merger
Operation Teen Youth and Valley of the Moon Teen Center merged in order to further their common mission to empower Sonoma Valley teens to make beneficial choices regarding their health, safety, education, and future.

2010 - Lovin’ Oven formed by teen bakers Esther Oros, Janet Gonzalez, Yazel Cazares, and Maria Cazares
Under the supervision of Famers Insurance Agency owner Anea Kamahele, the four teenage bakers launched the Lovin’ Oven Culinary Academy. This hand’s-on program gives teens the in-depth training and practical experience needed to prepare them for meaningful jobs in the hospitality industry.
